My Story
About Me
Roisin is an accredited Medical Herbalist, using predominantly European traditional plant medicine to treat a variety of illnesses and ailments.
Roisin gained her Degree with honours in Herbal Medicine from Lincoln University in 2017.
Western herbalists are trained in diagnostics in the same manner as medical doctors, and are required to complete at least 500 clinical hours.
Through understanding the intrinsic relationship between nature and health, I am able to treat my patients with a more integrated approach to healing. We have after all co-evolved with plants, with 70% of pharmaceutical drugs being derived from the plant kingdom.
It is no coincidence that my own interest in herbalism was passed down through my family and their own connection to nature. As indigenous travellers, we have always had a close connection to the land and nature, using the power of plants to harness their benefits to treat and heal our bodies.
I am passionate about the work that I do and helping others to have better health.
Listed below are some of the charities and companies I have worked with, helping to deliver important projects that support communities and vulnerable people.
